Mechanical Engineering Students Visited Biomass Power Plant in Nemila, Zenica

Students of the International University of Sarajevo, led by their professor, Assistant Professor Dr. Ismar Alagić, Director of the Business Excellence Center of IUS – BECIUS, visited a biomass power plant in Nemila managed by JP Grijanje d.o.o. Zenica. The visit was intended for students of Mechanical Engineering study program taking  ME 411 Renewable Energy Technologies course this semester. It was also a great opportunity for the IUS incoming Erasmus+ exchange students to visit the site.

We would like to thank Mr. Vahdet Drina, Director of JP Grijanje d.o.o. Zenica and Mr. Esad Kruščić, Manager of this company, who enabled our students to learn more about the installed 3MW plant which is equipped with cutting-edge hardware.

This visit continues good practice of connecting IUS with representatives of business community and it is intended to be one of the many to follow.
