IUS ADRION Trainee Team Visits Partners in Croatia
Within the ADRION Trainee project implemented by the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) in cooperation with 10 partners from six countries, the IUS ADRION Trainee Team visited Project partners from the Republic of Croatia. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ismar Alagić, Project Manager and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tarik Namas, Project Technical Manager visited the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb, Algebra University College, and Energo-Data company.
The focus of the meetings were project activities related to establishing a joint study program in English in the field of renewable energy sources. The partners agreed on the cooperation activities with the industry, student training programs, research, and exchange of best practices with the project partners. All the meetings were part of the preparations for the Project final meeting to be hosted by University of Patras, Greece.
It should be pointed out that the International University of Sarajevo provided the highest number of signed agreements with industry partners aimed at further implementation of the Project. Professor Ismar Alagić highlighted the following: „ADRION Trainee Project has fostered quality relations with universities in Italy, Greece, Croatia, Albania and Serbia and thus created conditions for the next phase of the Project as well as new project ideas which should soon see the light of day and become functional“.
